Album Cover Analysis

The albums have the bands name and the album name on the front cover. They also have images that sometimes relate to the album name but in the bottom album cover the actual image doesn't really have much to do with the album name itself.

I think the main purpose of an album cover is to get their album cover to stand out and be different or original which would get people to see it above everything else and instantly know who it is by. I think it is a way of getting new artists out there and get people to notice their name. I think that the Yellowcard album cover uses a large font for the name of the band to get their name out there, they are not a new band because they have had a lot of albums previous to this but they do not have a huge fanbase which could mean that they are pushing to get noticed even more.
